Every time I sit in front of a blank canvas
I pour everything I’ve got into it.
Everything.
Doesn’t matter it’s 3″ x 5″..
I will release my universe
into something
that can fit into the palm
of my hand.
There is no other way..
It’s all or nothing.
Just as all the mystery and fullness of life
can squeeze itself into a single
moment..
Such is the power of art.
When a hand is both firm and mature
Rendering will do well to ensure
Scaling down then yields a BIG sensation.
YES to your fine Miniaturization!

So long as when you paint, you paint freely and just let ALL your inhibitions loose, then, whatever comes out on the canvas, would be a masterpiece no matter what!!!

There is something especially moving and poignant about small size art. I am moved by Leaf and Blackberry.

Yes, there is something very intimate about viewing a small work of art.. like tilting your ear to hear someone whisper.. you lean in and get closer.
